Both myself and my wife trained with Liam (head of UKRSA) on his UKRSA Professional Racket Stringers Course. We have strung hundreds of rackets over the years, helping people mostly from the Halifax area with their tennis and squash racket servicing needs.
As well as stringing and string recommendations, we replace grips and grommet strips for both tennis and squash rackets - as long as your manufacturer still produces it!
We both still play tennis and squash to a high standard, having both been qualified LTA Tennis coaches. We can also help you with any query you may have regarding your racket servicing needs.

We can now customise your racket by adding weight at various parts of the racket to alter the feel, power and stability of your racket. In addition to this we can keep the same balance, increase or decrease it to help with racket maneuverability or power.
Generally having a head light racket helps with racket maneuverability with it being easier and quicker to react to incoming shots, with this type of setup the racket is generally on the heavy side, so you need the strength to wield it. This HL setup gives you less power then a head heavy racket.
Generally having a head heavy racket gives you more power and tends overall to be used more on lighter rackets for beginners to help them with power in their shots. The downside is control, with a HH racket, it's harder to control your shots from the baseline and around the net.
We have a broad selection of both tennis and squash strings in stock, but if your favourite string isn't in stock then we can usually have it delivered the following working day.

You can contact us if you want to drop your racket off at our premises or we may be able to collect from you if you live near the Halifax area.
You can also post your racket to us and we will endeavour to string your racket and have it on it's way back to you within 48 hours. This time may increase if we have to order your string from our suppliers.
Please note: There will be an additional cost to cover posting your racket back to you.
If you live around the Halifax area, and don't have a spare racket we could lend you a racket free of charge to use whilst we complete the restring on your tennis or squash racket. Again just ask, and we will hopefully be able to sort something out...
